About
I grew up in St. George, Utah with an upbringing deeply immersed in the arts, particularly in dance and music.
As the child of two musicians, I started Suzuki training in violin when I was 3. To pass the time spent hanging out in band and orchestra rooms, I started picking up cello, viola, bass, guitar, trombone, trumpet, and just about anything else I could get my hands on. I was fortunate enough to perform with several groups around the country and in Europe, and began to teach private lessons and adjudicate festivals in Southern Utah.
I began my dance training in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary and in 2019 pursued a BFA at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a major in Contemporary Dance and a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship. Post-graduation, I moved to New York to pursue the Kenan Fellowship at Lincoln Center Education, and began dancing as a trainee with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company.
Throughout my artistic journey I have and will continue to prioritize bringing authenticity, kindness, and passion into any space I am in.
